Human paladin entered the room and closed the door. Then paladin took off the helmet and a long, blonde hair fell on the shoulders - ah, a woman. She took off her gloves, breastplate, plate leggings... all that armor was hung on a special rack for the battlesuit.
Who the hell is here...
Silently moaning from aching back and shoulders, she made some gestures with her arms, unused to only cloth items. Then she sighed and went down the stairs, to the first floor where the table with drinks was standing. A cup of water could be so refreshing after such a weary day.
Frown.
What is she doing here? How DARE she?!
She pondered for a moment and smiled - some light would be nice. She didn't need the light - she knew all the apartment by touch, but it was too dark and she just wanted to read a book or something. It helps to rest and then to fall asleep. Busy day, lots of work and exercises.
She put an empty cup back on the table, turned around to the mantlepiece and faltered. Her eyes opened widely and she made a several blind, awknward steps back to the table pushing the cup off it. Out of the darkness a grin was inspecting her with some maniacal curiousity. A grin that was born somewhere beyond the mouth, beaming with cunning and treachery, baring its white, tough teeth, strongly gripped together. A wicked grin...
Paladin swallowed and started to slowly moving closely to the wall - back to the stairs, on the upper floor where her weapons and armor were stored. She made a step, then another... and then she was pinned back to the wall by the glance that appeared iout of the darkness. Eaves opened showing the eyes of a stranger... slowly, as if he was bored or lazy to even look at her. But eyes were staring at her, with a piercing gaze coming through her head, reading her soul and feeding on her fear. Grin widened, marking the burning eyes with an even stronger lust.
There was a time... I was following my Masters. I needed a guide that would tell me what is wrong and what is right. I needed to be a slave and follow orders blindly, because I knew not of where to drive my spirit to...
Then she came... what is it? Love? The light that showed me my soul... bleeding but breathing... then I could heal it. Heresy... and...
That dream... Wolves don't need masters. Some wolves don't even need family. But everybody does... possessings, belongings, bindings... why? What for? Some choose the Horde, some choose Alliance. Some kneel to their Mistress... what's the difference? There's none but in your mind...
I urge to see the fall of my humanity... it breaks shackles and is so refreshing for my mind. To cut the web of morality that was weaved around our necks, strangling our souls and minds!
Then I want to dive in my misery. Gaining myself, finding the freedom that is the tiny abyss between destruction and creation.
And then I want to love... giving that emotion to others. Sharing something that is living inside of me. That life.
I want to rise. And then rise even higher and wipe the tears of my mistakes of my past. Wipe with blood... because there are no mistakes.
Carve out my eyes to see the freedom without any tutors... there's just an ocean of life... pointless, cruel, beautiful and so attracting.
I want to cry of this feeling. The world is in my hands... I have it. Do I need Sylvanas? The Horde? Barely... and who cares what it brings?
Azeroth is mine.
Stranger slowly stood up, staring the woman down, eating her with a gaze filled with lust and violence. Woman's heart ached, she darted to the upper floor to her blade but the stranger just jumped up, grabbing the rails of the stairs and with one swift movement pulling himself right to her gear.
A rough, merciless hand grabbed her throat and violently pushed to the wall, lifting up, strangling her. Stranger eyed her up and down, slowly examining her... evaluating.
Shall I kill her slowly, torturing her? She's a paladin.
Stranger took out a knife and put it to her neck.
Hmm.... but she is a woman. Shall I be gentle?
Smirk appeared on his face as a tiny flow of blood came out of her wounded neck. Stranger made a step closer... he could feel her hard breath now, feel the smell of a living one... he could also feel her glance, full of hatred and terror. Did she realise her fate?
By force he turned her head and sniffed the neck. Closing his eyes he slowly licked the blood, tasting it on a warm tender skin and quietly purring to himself, drunk of her smell and fear.
Woman, yes.
He turned her head back, meeting her gaze.
I know that you cannot understand me... but I'll say it. Death is not the end... if you feel like coming back, or your friends feel like haveing their revenge... I'll be waiting.
You are also the first paladin that is going to die in this way... because now... I kill only for myself!
With those words with one precise strike he stabbed the dagger in her neck to the hilt. Next moment he pulled it out, taking a shower of human blood and letting the lifeless body fall on the floor. He took out a handkerchief and jauntily cleaned the blade as if he was marking with such a gesture that the woman has already been forgotten and meant nothing.
Then he came back to the first floor and lied on the ground with a deep sigh of relief.
It feels so true...
He smiled happily and looked at the corner - there was a small Yeti sitting there. He opened his eyes and gave a look, full of sincere innocence. "Puppy eyes". Murderer chuckled at the Yeti and took out of the backpack a somehow slightly chewed pillow.
He had a sip of alcohol and murmuring a song lied on the floor, cuddling the pillow.
Home... now I've finally found a home...
With those words Gharb fell asleep in an apartment of Ironforge, quietly snoring to his sweet dreams.

Hey Gharb,
I've been trying to track you down just to wish you luck in getting your items and such restored after you got hacked. Out of all the people who could have been hacked, why you? *sigh* Anyway, your writing is still as beautiful as ever. Gharb's such a fascinating character. When/if I put more money on my account (which I may well do at the soon) I sure hope to get some cross-faction roleplay going. Anyway, good luck again, and keep bringing smiles to everyone! Even your victims!
