Food for the Beast.

It was a beautiful picture. Maraudon waterfalls were falling from the sky, taking away pain, doubts and fear, sparckling, reflecting the light.

She was in elven form - those rare moments when Gharb could see her eyes. Well... not 'her', because it was just magic, but nevertheless there was a soul behind. Alive, breathing, dancing.

Gharb was attentive, curious... He was admiring her joy, looking at her swimming in the water, enjoying it, laughing...

She was asking many questions he couldn't understand.

"Why do you love me?.. what am I?.. who are you?.."

Gharb inner smiled to her questions.

Who cares... does it matter? I am what I am - I don't define and I feel more complete. Love... i cannot answer this question. It's not something I'm doing "because of"... it's just... something beaming from the inside.

But inside he continued the conversation... he grinned. It was freedom in the eyes of the beast.

A hunger for blood, uncontrollable energy, enjoyment of the bloody fight, amusing the helpless victims... Murderer, menace... a rogue. Ultimate predator, born to kill and living to kill, getting satisfaction of just feeling the taste of a RAW paladin!

Gharb closed his eyes and purred. It was a fall of humanity, so amusing and beloved.

To taint them, to curse. To kill as you wish... sometimes slowly, deadly poisons, enjoying the agony of the human, cackling at each burst of blood pulsing our of their ripped bodies! Or to kill fast... with two strikes, cutting off heads, carving out guts - disgusting, wicked pleasure! Two rogues... like a sharks! Vampires, maniacs! Cursed blooddrinkers and blessed assasins!

He was staring at Heresy, devoured by her charisma, her spirit and energy. There was no war now within her for this single moment. Just the emotion. And it was lust, so strong that it was driving him, crushing like a storm, destroying the mind and forcing to obey.

She's wild, complete... pure. She feels the life within, she enjoys every moment of her being. At least now, this moment... this moment she knows what she is. She feels the emotion, she lets it drive her, smiling, dancing.

He smiled, in remembrance. It was a soul, open and honest.

Westfall... Stranglethorn... Feralas, Azshara... many places, all the Azeroth is breathing with her being. I sense her smell as if she has just passed in front of me. Everywhere... she knows my past, she knows my curses, my scars, my fears... She understands me. Not just a killer... but a soul. Living, feeling... Changing like the sky, flowing like a river, crying like a rain, shining like the sun. I'm bound to her and free at the same time. She's living in every moment, beating inside me... a doom I'm embracing by my own will. It is Heresy.

My goddess...

A doubt was born... Inner voice frowned.

"Is she a pray now? You're getting weak!"

She isn't. I know this... i am Gharb first. Gharb that loves her... i lose myself - i lose the feeling. - he smiled as he replied.

"Is she a prey then? You're too selfish, you'll destroy her!"

She isn't! She's Heresy, she belongs to herself. She wouldn't ever betray herself... I can't have her! Otherwise I wouldn't love her! - Gharb laughed.

But the doubt was just getting stronger.

"But she's at war. You cannot escape the truth, rogue. You're not different than others... she's suffering, you see it. She will drop you. She's going to kill the emotion, to tread you in the dirt, she'll rip your heart and throw it to trash!"

Gharb hesitated. He looked at Heresy. Magic expired and she was in undead form again.

Not because she wants to...

A pain laughed inside.

"So you see it! She doesn't know what love is... she can't understand the freedom of love. It just binds her! And she wants to be free... from you as well! Stop avoiding answers and looks closely! She will forget you!"

She said something, Gharb replied, laughing... but inside he was terrified.

I'll find you, Heresy. Even if you choose oblivion as a freedom... a true prison for your beast, stagnating, dying without food and blood... I know this prison too well. I've been there for years until you've freed me. I know every corner, every wall. I'll break it and find you... you can't hide from me!!

A vision faded. They were making their way further in Maraudon. It was an amazing place, an unforgettable memory they were sharing now... perhaps for the last time.

You have my heart. Feed the beast, Heresy, feed it...
